Healthgrades Corporate Blog
I led strategy and content development for the corporate blog at Healthgrades.com, the top website in America for online physician profiles. I increased the blog’s annual pageviews by 87 percent and annual unique pageviews by 93 percent from the prior year. My success resulted from integrating the blog with other marketing channels and improving content quality.
Website Redesign and Brand Refresh
One of my clients wanted a new website to match their renovated brand, and I led messaging and content development. The client served B2B and B2C audiences with a variety of services like office space leasing, startup accelerators and industry consortiums. I also managed a team including a copywriter, videographer and data scientist to develop content and build a metrics dashboard to measure ROI from marketing initiatives.

iral News Article on Cancer Therapy
I pitched and wrote this article about CAR T-Cell therapy, which is a revolutionary cancer treatment. The article appeared on the homepage of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology News online as part of a campaign I initiated at Terumo BCT. It’s about a process called CAR T-Cell manufacturing that makes the therapy possible and was important to prospective customers of Terumo BCT. The article appeared on the first page of Google results for “car t cell manufacturing” for more than a year. It was also shared organically, including when staff from a trade show that Terumo BCT would later attend found the article and posted it on social media without me pitching to them.
Marketing Video for a Physician Relationship Management System
I scripted and coordinated this video about a physician relationship management system, which helps hospitals build relationships with physicians and gain patient referrals. The videotaping, video editing and even the acting was done in-house.
Top Company Award Video with ColoradoBiz Magazine
ColoradoBiz Magazine named Terumo BCT a finalist in the 2015 Top Company Awards. I wrote and submitted the nomination form after pitching the idea to my manager. As part of our publicity, the magazine conducted a video interview with David Perez, CEO and President of Terumo BCT. I coordinated the interview and wrote speaking points for Perez.

My client helped a customer scale up their IT infrastructure to handle data from hundreds of thousands of IoT devices using AWS. I wrote this blog post to share key insights from the case study.
Press Release about Breakthrough Clinical Study
Malaria transmission via whole blood transfusion is a serious risk for many patients in some developing countries. However, Terumo BCT completed the first clinical study reducing such transmissions with a pathogen reduction technology. This means blood centers have a new measure to reduce malaria infections in their patients. I wrote this press release and distributed it through a global wire and direct news pitches.
